Intelligent horse monitoring technology

I am developing a horse monitoring technology (trackener.com). The aim is to relieve the stress of the horse owners by detecting health problems earlier on and alerting the owner.

I would like to push the prototype further during the hackathon. The product consists of:
- a device set on the horse to monitor his data: GPS, accelerometer and heart rate sensor (currently an arduino prototype)
- a user interface dedicated to horse owners
- a backend to retrieve the device data, analyse them, and communicate with the web UI (a JAVA REST API + Mongo database)
